It's always very exciting when one of our maker pals gets some time in the spotlight and we're thrilled that Sam (AKA Look Mum No Computer) is currently in Vienna representing the UK in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
YouTube Projects
As well as being an analog synth wizard, Sam is an inspiring inventor - he builds unhinged and fabulous projects that span the intersection of music and art (if that's not enough, he does cool stuff with engines too 🔥).
Here are links to some LMNC projects that we've particularly enjoyed. You're probably most likely to have encountered The Furby Organ:
Whoa! Big sound, wah!
But we're also partial to the Teletubby Tidal Wave:
Uh Oh!
And the 1000 Oscillator Megadrone!
Whommmm
All of the videos on his channel are great and we struggled to pick just a few - see for yourself. You can also sign up for LMNC updates on Patreon.
Long Pong
We've supplied Sam with a bunch of maker kit over the years. A while ago we sent a bunch of 'factory seconds' in his direction, to make into something cool for his museum. Check out Long Pong - a very wide display made from 20 of our Galactic Unicorn LED matrix displays:
Long pong, it's pong but it's long.
Here's our head engineer Niko trying it out:

This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete
Did we mention that Sam also runs a museum? This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete is based in Ramsgate in Kent and houses a fascinating collection of experimental, obsolete, scientific and musical technology.
It's well worth a visit if you're in the area - there's a bunch of cool stuff to see (and play with) including a church organ, an entire telephone exchange and a fantastic musical instrument made out of owls 🦉.

If you'd like to visit, you can find out opening times (and more) on the museum website:
Eins, Zwei, Drei
Eins, Zwei, Drei is the UK's 2026 Eurovision entry - you can dance to it and it features pizza and jam roly-poly. If you haven't got it stuck in your head yet, here's the music video and a link to listen on Spotify.
With a slice of Pepperoni!
If you're watching the grand final on Saturday, be sure to look out for all the neat DIY touches to Sam's staging, including the hand-labelled 'power distribution board' and the electrically correct three phase knife switch.
Good Luck Sam!
All of us here in Sheffield-on-Sea (including our resident cyber Furby) would like to wish Look Mum No Computer the very best of luck performing in Vienna this week. Go Sam - we're rooting for you! 💜
